Blu-ray is dying so I believe it's now time for 'obsolete' tape to shine again in the strangest of ironies.

I guess the Blu-Ray is going to go the way of the Dodo bird. I really don't like the extinction of optical drives, cds annd dvds.

It's interesting how technology keeps cycling back in unexpected ways. While Blu-ray is fading, tapes have seen a niche resurgence, especially in archival storage. Physical media still has its advantages, and it's a shame to see optical drives disappearing entirely. Digital convenience is great, but there's something special about owning a physical copy.

Exactly. I love optical drives. I love CD/DVD burners, and you are right, there is something about owning a physical copy of your stuff. Tape drives are making a comeback? I didn't know that.
